AUGUST 7th @ Cole's Point Tavern in Hague, Va is the location and it is going to be a wild one.  Bikini Contest to start off the festivities then Slider goes on to blow the roof off the Tavern...It's going to be a GREAT TIME so make those plans to get down to Cole's Point to party with Ricky, Randy, Jay, Gary and Greg as Slider "ONE LAST TIME"

THANKS to ALL OF YOU that came out over the weekend to hang with us for our last 2 local club shows.  We cannot express our gratitude enough for the support you have given us.  It's been a great run but we still have a couple more shows on the books.

On Saturday June 12 we are playing a benefit shows for the Disabled Veterans of America at the American Legion in Warrenton.  Come on out and support out Vets because they need it!!

Our FINAL show will be at Coles Point Tavern in Hague, Va down on the water on August 7th.  Come on down and lets have one hell of a party.  It's going to be a blast!!

This coming Saturday we are doing a double bill...1st up is Rusty Halls Annual Rolling Thunder Party.  We go on from 4:00-5:30 then we move down the street to John's Place and play the party there from 8:30 - Midnight.  Make your plans now to come hang out with us.

We just want to say THANKS to everyone that came out to Sully's on Friday, March 19th.  We had a great time as usual, Taylor Johnson gave us a nice poster thanking us for raising money for the Girl Scout Cookies that were sent to our troops...You all gave to the cause and we raised almost $840 for the cookies...Hopefully pics will be coming soon of the troops with the cookies you all bought for them...Thanks again!!!

We also had a wedding proposal that night...AS of right now, Scott Johnson and Leanne Mcauslan are engaged to be married...Was pretty cool seeing it all go down right there in front of the stage...Good luck to them both!!!   Humm, wonder if we are playing the Reception?  :)

We just had a great weekend...After being snowed out for 2 shows in a row we rolled into Mainstreet and Brittany's this past weekend and you all ROCKED...Mainstreet was a packed house on Friday night and then Brittany's was slammin' on Saturday but we still can't figure out the No Dancing thing...Kinda STOOPID if ya ask us!!!

You all helped us raise over $615 this past weekend for more Girl Scout cookies to be sent to our troops overseas...We also collected $245 from Sully's last month so you all donated  $860 for our troops...We appreciate it!!!

We're taking a little bit of time off but we will be back at Sully's on March 19th...

What a way for Slider to start off 2010...THANK YOU - THANK YOU - THANK YOU to everyone that came out to Sully's on Saturday night.  Once again it was a PACKED HOUSE and as always we appreciate your support...WE LOVE YOU GUYS AND GALS and we'll see ya next week at The Sunset Grille!!!

What an adventure in Stafford on December 18th.  We went down to play the show, snow started falling at 8pm but there were at least 75 people there so we gave them a Slider show until Midnight when they told us to get out and head home.  By the time we got loaded and on the road it was 1:00am and there was at least 7 inches on the ground or more.  95 was covered and it was 25mph all the way home.  Everyone made it home that night except for Randy and he was stuck in Fredericksburg for 2 days but finally made it home on Sunday the 20th.  Everyone finally made it home safe and it was definitely a night to remember.  haha

We want to THANK everyone that came out to support us in 2009 because YOU were the ones that made it a great year for us.  We had a blast playing music for you all year and we are looking forward to more good times in 2010.

What a night we had at the Backyard Grill in Manassas.  THANK YOU to everyone that came out to support us...It meant a lot to us since the Backyard was a new club for us to play so seeing you all there made our night...

Birthday celebrations were going on all night and all sorts of debauchery... :)

Next stop for us will be Mainstreet in Stafford and Towne Pub in Aberdeen...

What can we say...You all once again PACKED Sully's and we had a great time.  Birthday Celebrations for Jacob, Tammy and Carmen were going on, the place was a non-stop party and you all were dancin' the night away.  Thanks again for hanging out with us.

The Toy's 4 Tots benefit was a huge success.  Money was raised and given to the Marines to distribute and there were a lot of toys collected for the needy children out there in the world.  Thank you for your donations and for participating in this GREAT EVENT!! 

We're taking a little time off for the holiday but we'll see you on Dec 12th in Manassas.

What a GREAT Weekend!!!

Thanks to everyone that came out to support us at both Waterstock down at Tim's Rivershore and over at the Clifton Chili Cookoff and Car/Bike show.  We had a great time and even though the weather played a little havoc on the party on Monday, it still was a great time.  Can't wait to do both events again next year.

We like to say THANKS to Dave Taylor for filing in for Gary while he was out.  We appreciate it.

September is going to be a busy month so mark your calendars.  Sept 11 - Fast Eddie's, Sept 18 - Slider's 9th Anniversary Party at Sully's and Sept 25-26 at Madigan's Waterfront.

We had a great Saturday night at Coles Point.  The 2nd Anniversary Party was pumping all day and the Bikini Contest was off the hook.  The Tavern was packed with people all day, parking lot was full, boats tied up on the water and everyone was having a great time.

A Big Thanks to our crew including Tammy, Cyndi, Joanie, Melissa, Tracie, Cara, Billy, Monte and the great staff there treated us fantastic.

The party at night was rocking too and all in all the 2nd Anniversary was a HUGE success.  If you were not there you missed a hell of a good time.

Mark your calendars for Labor Day weekend because we will be at Waterstock @ Tim's Rivershore on Saturday September 5th and then Clifton Days on Monday September 7th.  Both of those shows have a 4pm start time.

Many thanks for two awesome slam packed nights this past weekend at MADIGAN'S on the Waterfront in Occoquan Virginia. What a great weekend with so many friends and folks jam-packing the club and rolling the party till closing both nights.

Many thanks to all of our friends and fans for being with us this past weekend at THE SUNSET GRILLE in Annandale VA. and SULLY'S in Chantilly VA.

Friday at the Grille was a blast as always with the "shooter girls" getting the party rolling EARLY! Kudos to Tammy, Cyndi, Joanie, Tracie, Madonna, Melissa, Leanne, Cara, Larry, Craig and Mandy for partying the night with us. 

Saturday night at SULLY'S was another fun time at one of our favorite clubs and a great crowd in party mode. Many thanks to those coming out to this show including Joanie, Cyndi, Tammy, Melissa, Tracie, Carmen, Steve, Manny, Nancy, Mandy, Rebecca, Toby, Steven, Dave, Monte, Rob, Chris, Jacob, Wes, Paula, Larry, Mark and all the great folks that came to hang with us as well as the great crew and staff at SULLY'S! 

Next up is MADIGAN'S on the Occoquan in Virginia. TWO big nights of SLIDER rockin' on the river. Friday and Saturday July 31st and August 1st! Get there early for some great food, acoustic entertainment out on the deck over the river and marina during happy hour and a great house party with SLIDER starting around 9PM both nights.

Thank you ONE AND ALL for another HUGE house party at FAST EDDIE'S in Fairfax on Friday June 19th. What a packed house!! You guys are awesome as always. There were so many people in that club the AC couldn't handle the heat from all you crazy folks and it was party central all night long.

Also we want to say Thanks to everyone for a great night at Shenanigans in Leesburg Virginia on Saturday June 20th.  Spanky's  treated us great on our debut night and we appreciate it.

Cole's Point was the bomb this past weekend....Great Weather, Great Food, and especially Great Friends made is a day to remember...We'd like to throw a special thank you out to Tammy, Cyndi, Traci, Melissa, Paula, T.J. and the crew at Cole's Point...  All we can say is if you were not there, you missed one hell of a good time...Pics will be posted soon...

We had a great time at Mack's in Frederick.  We'd like to say thinks to Tammy, Cyndi, Cara & Leanne for coming out to Party with us.  Always a good time.  We'd also like to thank Frank and Patrick for bringing up the crew to party with us as well.  We even had a Slider 'Alumni Jam' session when JJ showed up.  JJ got up with Frank and we did a couple of tunes.  Always a good time when the old crew can get back together every once in awhile.  Once again, Thanks to EVERYONE that came out to the show!!!

Another great time was had at The Sunset Grille.  Nancy and Tracy were celebrating their Birthdays and the party was cookin'...The Grille was packed all night long and we'd like to thank everyone that came out.  Nancy, Tracy, Mandy, Rebecca, Tammy, Cara, Leanne, Cyndi, Joanie, Paula and probably as few more we can't remember.  Again thank you to everyone.

On a sad note after the show was finished, a friend and patron of The Grille passed on.  We do not have all of the details yet but it appeared that he had a major heart attack.  Tracy and another person there performed CPR on him until the Paramedics arrived but we found out a little later on that he didn't make it.  Our condolences go out to his friends and family.

What a GREAT WEEKEND.  Friday night was Rockin' at Sully's.  You all came out and packed the house on Friday and we had a blast.  Boo-Koo friends were out and got up on stage.  Emma, Gary's daughter got up and sang a song with us, Willy and Shadow got up and sang some Skynyrd, Jimmy Brown got up and played a little guitar.  All and all it was a GREAT NIGHT and we want to say THANKS TO EVERYONE that came out.

Saturday night at The Towne Pub wasn't quite a wild as Friday but we still had a great time celebrating Cara's 21st Birthday!!  It was a great weekend and as usual we had a great time.  Next stop on the tour is May 8th at Mack's Rock Bar in Frederick, Md. and then May 9th at The Sunset Grille.

Another GREAT TIME was had with everyone at Mainstreet last night. The house was Rockin' and the crowd was non-stop all night. We'd like to thank everyone that came out to party with us and we'd also like to thank you all for the great support that you gave Tammy.  Tammy did a great job and we're very proud of her.  If you missed it, then you missed a very special and touching moment. 

As always the show was a BLAST to play and then the Down Time at IHOP was great too. Thanks again to everyone that came out...

Man...What a weekend...We want to throw out some HUGE "THANK YOUS" to everyone that came out to hang with us this weekend...Sunset Grille was packed and stayed packed all night...Hard Times was also a packed house....The party was definitely on this weekend...We had a great time and can't wait to do it again...

Baba G'Nush opened the show for us at Hard Times and played some great music to get everyone going...Just to let you know, they are going to be heading to California to see if they can hit the big time...They have the talent to do it so shoot some good luck their way and lets wish them the best...Keep track of what's going on with them at www.myspace.com/babagnush

What a GREAT TIME you all made Fast Eddie's for us...We looked around at 8:00pm and the house was packed already and you all just kept rolling in the door....We just want to say THANKS to everyone that came out.....Tammy, Cyndi, Nancy, Mandy, Rebecca, Cara, Kathy, Sue, Paula, Mike, Sal, Rusty, Shannon, Maryroi plus we know we are probably forgetting some folks and we apologize for that....Again, THANK YOU for making our return to Fast Eddie's a great time.....

We're taking next weekend off (Fidget is going to Vegas for the NASCAR race and Randy is going down to Myrtle Beach) but will be back out and about on March 7th at "The Towne Pub" in Aberdeen, Md.   Mark it on your calendar, make your plans and lets road trip up to Aberdeen and have a party.

What a great night at Mainstreet in Stafford!!!

The place was jammed packed and we had one hell of a good time.

We had a Calamity Jane mini reunion with Ric Lawhorne on Guitar from the Borrowed Time Band and Dave Lumb on Drums from Twist of Faite.  Calamity Jane was a band that Randy, Ric and Dave were members of back in the 90's.  Jezzz, just saying BACK in the 90's seems weird....  hahaha

We want to say THANKS to Joanie, Cyndi, Tammy, Leanne and Tracie for coming out and making out last show in 2008 a good time. Your support is ALWAYS APPRECIATED!!!

What a “GREAT WEEKEND”!!!!! 

We had a great time at “The Grill” on Friday night.   You all kept the party going with us until they threw us out so “THANKS” for coming out and having a good time with us.  Tina came out and celebrated her birthday with us which was cool and we hope she continues to come out and hang with us….Can’t wait to get back to the Grill.  It’s always a fun place to play.  Room was packed all night, we had people waiting in the back to get out front, just an all around good time…Thanks again to everyone that came out…

Saturday night at Hard Times was a good night too.  Even though the weather kept a lot of people home we still made it a Party for Joanie & Fidget’s Birthday.  Fidge would like to say thanks to Joanie, Nancy and Mandy for the Cakes.   What can we say but “CREATIVE MINDS”….We had a blast and we want to thank Joanie, Cyndi, Paula, Cara, Leanne, Nancy, Mandy, Joe, Matt, Larry and everyone else (hopefully we didn’t forget anyone) for coming out and making it a great weekend for us.

What a great night we had a Sully's.   We had so much going on that night and the house was packed.  We'd like to especially thank everyone that came out from the "Reston Adult Social Club".  You all got the night started off in the right direction.  Plus we want to says thank you to everyone that came out and celebrated their Birthdays with us and to everyone that just came out to hang out and have a good time with us.  Sully's is always a great time for us and we love to play there.  We'll be back in 2009 so keep an eye out for the next Sully's date.

Next up is Cole's Point Tavern  so load on up and come south and party with us.

Everyone was getting crazy and having fun plus we had a couple of Birthdays and something that was a 1st for us, a Marriage Proposal and she said YES!!!!

What a great time we had on Saturday at Hard Times in Woodbridge...Everyone was getting rowdy and having fun, Birthday cake was everywhere and it just turned into an all out party.

Man....Saturday night was pretty wild when we rolled into Aberdeen Maryland for The Towne Pub's 5th anniversary celebration. They were taking care of us all night with their world-famous Jello shooters so many thanks to the wonderful staff there and their hospitality. Thanks to all of our friends that came out to support us and as always, you know we appreciate it...

We will return to The Towne Pub on Saturday, November 22nd so make plans now and get your motel reservations EARLY! We look to be back in there fairly regularly in 2009 so stay tuned.

Whew! What can we say. You guys came out like you said you would and it was a GREAT night! THANK YOU so much! All of our friends and familiar faces showed up and we had a blast. Thank you to Cyndi, Joanie, Leanne, Cara, Tinker, Lisa (who went to see a friend sing in Front Royal and then came to see us!), Nancy, Mandy, Rhonda, Sue, Chris, Jacob, Harley Angel, Dave, Mike and so many more. You make it SO worthwhile and I thank you all from the bottom of my heart. It is always a pleasure to see you all. Take care and we head to the Towne Pub in Aberdeen, MD on Saturday the 27th. Then we are returning to Hard Times Cafe in Woodbridge on Oct. 11th so hope to see ya there. Thanks again!

Waterstock was a fantastic time for the band. We had perfect weather and an awesome crowd down at Tim's Rivershore! Thanks to Leanne, Cara, Cyndi, Mandy, Nancy, Chris, Jake, Scott, Ricky and all the friends, family and fans who made the trek to see us. It was a BLAST to say the least. Bill Culver and Metro Events had the PA crankin' out on the barge in the Potomac and everyone was having a really great time. Kudos to Rick's son's band 2020 Vizion who played a great set.

Tim's Rivershore is a really cool place to play, hang out, eat, drink and just soak in the beach. Thanks to Eric for setting it up and all those on staff that made it such a successful happening. Can't wait to do it again next year! THANKS AGAIN!
